Everyday, buses of various transport companies leave Sonapur for different towns of the country. Among these, 'Bilas', 'Mitali' and 'VIP' bus-services start after every one hour. The stoppages of these luxurious buses are Sonapur, Maijdi Town Hall turn, Maijdi Bazar, Choumuhani, Zemindar Hat, Senbagh, Daganbhuiyan and Saidabad. There is a bus-service named 'Jatri Seba' running through the Sonapur-Saidabad route. 'Green Arrow' bus-service runs from Sonapur to Chittagong which starts every half-an-hour. 'Green' service has stoppages at Sonapur, Maijdi Town Hall turn, Maijdi Bazar, Choumuhani, Zemindar Hat, Senbagh, Daganbhuiyan, Feni, Mirsarai, Sitakunda, GEC turn and Tigerpass. 'Upakul' bus service starts for Comilla from Maijdi New Bus Stand after every 10 minutes. From the same place, 'Sugandha' bus service runs through the Feni route. Besides, local buses run from Sonapur to Lakshmipur, Ramgati, Kabirhat, Basurhat, Charbata, Char Jabbar, Steamer Ghat, Shullakia and
Chaiakhali. |
