Economic Condition

The economic condition of the three districts of Greater Noakhali is almost same. There are some differences between the districts owing to their location and facilities in the field of industry, trade and commerce. Noakhali is the biggest among the three districts. The well-known trade center Choumuhani is situated in the present Noakhali district. Delta Jute Mills is located here. The economy of the district centres around Choumuhani. There are considerable number of entrepreneurs who have established small & cottage industry in various parts of Noakhali district
