Peasant leader Rafiq Uddin Intu Mia, central leader of Krishak Samity formed by Moulana Bhasani and Sammyabadi Dal formed by Comrade Mohammad Toaha, was termed as ‘Gariber Bandhu’ (the friend of the poor).
