Birth Information: Alhaj Syed Badrul Alam was born in 1943 in the village "Toomchar" under Lakshmipur district. His father name is late Sayed Asad Ullah Miah and his mothers name is late Sariatunnesa. 

Education: Sayed Badrul Alam completed his matriculation for his native land/place Lakshmipur Model School and H. S. C. & graduation from, Dhaka. 

Career: Mr. Alam started his career in the United Bank of Pakistan and served there from 1965 to 1980. Then he started a construction firm called Technocon Limited". Through this company he completed many construction projects both in Bangladesh & abroad like Iraq and Kuwait etc. In 1984 he started a garments manufacturing industry named "Wills Garments Limited". By the end of 2002 he has expanded business in multipherious fields including industrial embroidery, media promotions, IT education and real estate. They are: Wills Garments Limited, Wills Apparels Limited, Wills Sportswear Limited, Evershine Fashions Limited, Monde Limited, Searock Apparels Limited, Monde Apparels Limited, Apparel Concept Limited, Wills Embroidery, Wills Cargo Services Limited, Wills Intech Limited and Wills Real Estate.

Social work: He is a famous personality in the socio-cultural fields in Bangladesh. He is working to promote the educational opportunities in his locality. In 1992 he established a high school named Toomchar Asad Academy. He is also the former President of Bhobanigonj High School Managing Committee. He is the life member of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Gulshan Club Limited, Uttara, Club Limited, Baridhara Association, Bangladesh Lion Foundation, Lakshmipur Jilla 

Samity. He established a Mosque in his village and made a lot of donations for various kinds of Socio-cultural, Religious, Sports & Educational Institutions like Dalal Bazar College, Bhabanigonj Madrasa, Raipur Rustam Ali College, Jabbar Masterhat High School, Shak Char Junior High School and Char Ababil High School Authorities of these institutions are always grateful to him for his kind donation. Mr. Alam is one of the top donors of Lakshmipur Barta. Mr. Badrul Alam always advances his helping hand to Lakshmipur Barta in the various kind of its social & humanitarian activities.

Foreign Tour: Alhaj Sayed Badrul Alam has by now countries lick U. S. A, Mexico, England, France, Switzerland, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Family Life: It was a great moment when Alhaj Sayed Badrul Alam got married to Mrs, Zakia Alam. The have seven children named Sayed Abdullah Al Mamun, Sayed Abdullah Al Farooque, Sayed Abdullah Al Amin, Sayed Nazmun Nahar, Sayed Salma Chowdhury, Sayed Sahana Islam and Sayed Abdulah Al Mahamud, All the members of his family are well placed in the society for their philanthropic activities.
